What is ClassicMenu Indicator

ClassicMenu Indicator is a notification area applet (application indicator) for the top panel of Ubuntu’s Unity desktop environment.

It provides a simple way to get a classic GNOME-style application menu for those who prefer this over the Unity dash menu.

Like the classic GNOME menu, it includes categourised menus to easily explore installed applications.

Why does Vinux use Classic menu indicator

Vinux includes the indicator to assist people who are transitioning from previous Vinux versions that used the Classic Desktop environment.

How do I access it

The indicator along with other indicators can be accessed with the

Alt + F10

key combination.

Simply arrow left or right to explore other indicators until you find the one you are seeking.
